The Whammy Bar is a new restaurant, bar and music venue in downtown Peoria that opened in May 2010. Brothers Brandon Isbell and Jeremy Isbell opened The Whammy Bar at the highly visible corner of Main and Madison fulfilling a dream of bringing a live music theme to an exceptional restaurant and bar in the heart of downtown Peoria.

We are a Live Music venue - music will be the theme of our establishment, with blues, jazz and rock music featured on weekends and many weekday nights. The Whammy Bar was named after the lever attached to an electric guitar often used by guitarists to change the pitch or sound of a song.

We are proud to serve an excellent Lunch and Dinner menu. We are always ready for walk-ins and will take reservations for your occasion. Our lunch and dinner atmoshere is family and kid friendly. We are within walking distance of the Civic Center, City Hall, Courthouse, Caterpillar headquarters and most downtown hotels! Public parking is available on the street.
